Ruchill Park Adventure Play Centre

Worked with a group of local mothers in north Glasgow to help
them plan their strategy and activities, including a feasibility study for a new
children’s play centre to be developed and managed by the group.
The work involved; an audit of existing services; local research and
consultation; workshops with board members; an options appraisal;
risk assessment; financial projections and production of a business plan.

Glasgow Housing Association

Wider role strategy development for 3 local housing organisations (LHOs)
that involved; workshops with staff and committee; local research and
consultation; project development; building local partnership arrangements;
strategy formulation.

The second project involved working with several LHOs to develop
specific projects. This involved; local social and economic research;
consultation and partnership development; project planning; establishing
staffing and management arrangements; securing funding.

The Wise Group

Assessment of the organisation’s land-based projects involving an opinion
research and consultation exercise with a range of customers and
stakeholders to inform future programme development.

Training and facilitation

Training workshops for SHARE to housing associations on developing a
wider role strategy, delivered in association with Nick Hopkins Consulting.

Training workshops for Parents of East End Children, delivered in association
with Fair Pley Ltd, to help the group develop its strategy.

Presentation and workshops to 60 young people from West Africa and
from Glasgow as part of a British Council exchange to mark the 200th
anniversary of the abolition of slavery.

Presentation to the management committee of Atrium Homes on developing
a wider role strategy.
